Intern Quantitative Investment Analyst (f/m/d)

As an Intern Quantitative Investment Analyst (f/m/d), you support our Investment Team in the continuous development and management of our investment strategies in the areas of Public and Private Markets. The position is available from October 2026, and the internship lasts at least four months. What will you actually be doing? • Tactical Asset Allocation Models: You contribute to the quantitative research behind our tactical asset allocation models by independently backtesting model enhancements, evaluating new signals, and preparing analyses for our investment decisions. • Fund Selection: You assist in the quantitative screening, selection, and monitoring of funds and ETFs. This includes peer-group comparisons, performance and risk analyses, and supporting the ongoing due diligence of our fund universe. • Developing the Code Base: You support our quantitative analysts in further developing our code base. Among other things, this includes Python-based tools for portfolio simulation, backtesting, and fund selection. • Capital Market Analyses: You independently conduct quantitative capital market analyses to support our analysts and client advisors. WHAT YOU BRING • Background: You are currently studying computer science, mathematics, physics, economics, finance or a related field and have a strong affinity for quantitative topics. Ideally, you have gained some initial experience in capital markets, statistical modeling, or data analysis. • Skills and Qualifications: You have excellent analytical skills, strong attention to detail, and a hands-on mentality. You are proficient in Python and SQL and ideally have experience with libraries such as NumPy, Pandas, or Polars. You also bring at least a basic understanding of capital markets. • Mindset: Your keen eye for detail goes hand in hand with your careful and conscientious way of working. Ineffective and inefficient processes bother you, and you proactively take steps to continuously improve them. You feel comfortable in a demanding yet informal start-up environment and stand out through your strong communication skills. WHAT WE OFFER • Diversity: Flat hierarchies and cultural openness make you an integral part of our team of international talents from day one. • Flexibility: We don't complicate your life. Our flexible working models let you find the right balance. 24 days of vacation plus 2 additional days off on December 24 and 31 also give you time to relax. • Appreciation: Together with us, you shape the future of digital wealth management in an innovative, multi-award-winning company on a growth trajectory, with high market relevance and plenty of room for your ideas. • Equipment: MacBook, headphones, and display go without saying. • Smart Money: As a LIQIDian, you receive attractive conditions for our investment strategies, a monthly lunch allowance, and exclusive discounts with various providers. • Well-Being: Regional organic products keep you fit on site at our office on Ku'damm — and our health initiatives such as beach volleyball, the Soccer Startup League, and our Health Assistance Program keep you fit well beyond it. YOUR NEXT STEPS • Getting to Know People & Culture: You will meet our People & Culture team and discuss all the relevant basics. • Video Interview with a Senior Team Member: In a technical interview with a senior member of the team, we will assess whether your experience and expectations align with our requirements for the position. • Case Study: You will work on a typical situation you might encounter in this role. You will have about one week to complete the case study. Find more English Speaking Jobs in Germany on Arbeitnow
