Market Lead DACH / Senior Account Executive

🌊 Who are we? We're a smart hydration company rebuilding an industry that still runs on sugar water and single-use packaging. Filtered water, functional flavors, zero bottles. Still, sparkling, cold, and hot. All poured from one tap. We create hydration people want to reach for, starting with the workplace where we help teams thrive. As an AI-native company, we build at speed. In 2025, Aquablu ranked 2nd in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 (Netherlands) and 30th in the Sifted 250 (Europe), both rankings of the fastest-growing companies by revenue growth. In 2026 we were named a winner of Maya's Culture 100 Europe Awards as one of the best workplaces to thrive in. Growing that fast and thriving comes down to our people. Our team is our biggest asset and one that we’re proud of. We’re committed to maintaining our vibrant culture as we continue to grow. About the role Aquablu is looking for a Senior Account Executive / Market Lead to open the German market for our direct sales channel. You are the first Aquablu seller on the ground in Germany and you own the market end-to-end: you generate the pipeline, close the deals, work directly with our Facility Management and Contract Catering partners, and shape how we go to market in Germany. This is a senior individual-contributor role with a clear entrepreneurial mandate: build. It is designed for a country builder or a former sales manager who wants to go back into a closing seat, own a market, and grow into leading the German team once the numbers justify it. You are based in or around Frankfurt am Main, Berlin or Cologne/Düsseldorf. What you'll do Germany is yours to build • Own the German direct territory and build the pipeline that hits target. Work your named accounts, run your own outbound into end clients and the FM/CM layer, answer inbound within SLA, and qualify every meeting your BDR books. • Run the full cycle with SPICED. You'll lead discovery, demo to every stakeholder in the room, set up pilots with success criteria agreed upfront, and take Pay-Per-Drink proposals through negotiation to signature. HubSpot stays current, and your monthly forecast holds up when someone pushes on it. • Shape the German go-to-market plan with Marketing, from positioning and ABM to content and events. Sit down together every month and read the funnel. • Write the German playbook and make it the way the team sells. Coach the BDR Germany, build the case for the next German hires, and be ready to lead them when they arrive. About you • 6–10 years of B2B full-cycle sales, with a proven record of carrying and beating a new-business target in a recurring-revenue or hardware-enabled-SaaS model • You have built before: opened a country, region or segment, or led a sales team and you now want to own a market as an individual contributor with a path to lead it • Fluent German, business-fluent English: you sell and contract in German and work in English with the Amsterdam team • Customer-centric seller: you run a structured, SPICED-based process from discovery to decision — you diagnose the customer's situation and impact before you pitch, and you build consensus across a buying committee without a single sponsor handing you the deal • Pipeline builder: you know how much pipeline your target requires and you generate it your own outbound, fast inbound conversion, BDR meetings as a bonus, not the plan • FM / Contract Catering / Workplace Services experience: you know how the FM layer, the site manager and the end-client Facilities or Procurement lead interact and who decides • Marketing-literate: you shape what the German buyer needs to hear and co-design campaigns and events for your market • Resilient, autonomous, mobile: office and field, regular travel across Germany, periodic weeks at Amsterdam HQ Nice to have • Experience working hand-in-hand with Marketing on ABM and local demand generation • Background in sustainability, workplace experience or food & beverage services • FM / Contract Catering / Workplace Services experience: you know how the FM layer, the site manager and the end-client Facilities or Procurement lead interact and who decides Why Aquablu? You will be part of a young, fun and ambitious team which aims to change the way people consume water! 💰 A yearly salary between €65k – €90k base salary 📈 70/30 uncapped OTE → Total OTE €85k – €119k 🌴 26 paid holiday days 📈 Equity through our Aquablu for All plan — everyone shares in what we’re building 🌱 Healthy (heavily discounted) lunches 💪 Urban Sports Club membership 🚀 Access to the Corporate Benefits platform for endless savings 🚆 Travel compensation >10km 👴 A pension plan by Zwitserleven. 💧 Endless amount of our very own flavoured water ! 💙Check out out our Youtube to get a feeling for the culture at Aquablu!
