Senior Launch / Onboarding Manager (f/m/x)

About lemon.markets 🍋 We enable anyone to be an investor. Our mission is to grow investing opportunities for all European customers and businesses. By empowering FinTechs, banks, and wealth managers to offer investment products, we help create financial well-being for their customers. lemon.markets is a Brokerage-as-a-Service platform: simple digital access to capital markets through a single API. Our API-first infrastructure abstracts brokerage complexity with a well-documented API, a self-service customer operations portal, and a clear regulatory framework, so partners can launch customer-centric, compliant products in weeks, not months. As part of the dwpbank Group, we share a clear goal: we enable anyone to be an investor by making investing in capital markets more accessible. By combining dwpbank’s long-standing expertise and stability with lemon.markets’ technology-first mindset and speed, we are building a modern, modular securities services ecosystem. Together, we offer faster time-to-market, modular services, and a modern customer experience that helps financial service providers stay competitive and respond more flexibly in a changing market. Your Mission As our Launch Manager, you’ll own the end-to-end delivery of our partner onboarding, from kick-off through go-live and post-launch activities, turning complex, regulated brokerage integrations into predictable, high-quality launches. Our partner universe is evolving: alongside our direct business with fintechs and neobanks, we’re building a combined offering with dwpbank, bringing a new wave of partners and increased cross-organization complexity. We’re therefore building a dedicated Launch Manager function to run these onboardings with clear ownership. In this setup, you’ll provide the coordination we’re building, driving the launch plan, steering stakeholders, and ensuring a clean handover to Partner Management once the partner is live. You’ll sit at the center of cross-functional execution, aligning Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Operations, and second-line functions (and, where relevant, dwpbank) to keep delivery on time, within scope, and operationally sound. In this role you will: • Lead end-to-end partner launches by owning the onboarding plan, milestones, and delivery rhythm across Partnerships, Product, Engineering, Operations, and second-line functions — so partners go live faster and with fewer surprises. • Drive alignment and decision-making between partnership leads, product counterparts, and executive sponsors — so scope, priorities, and trade-offs are clear and execution stays on track. • Run cross-functional workstreams (e.g., API integration readiness, ops/process setup, compliance & controls, partner enablement) to reduce delivery risk and ensure high-quality outcomes in a regulated environment. • Design and continuously improve an onboarding playbook (templates, checklists, risk log, status reporting, launch criteria) to standardize onboarding and scale partner delivery without scaling chaos. • Own stakeholder communication and reporting to leadership, internal steering committees, and partner counterparts — so progress, risks, and dependencies are transparent and manageable. • Manage complex/time-sensitive post-launch activities (feature expansions, new functionalities, operational changes) so existing partners can grow their offering without destabilizing day-to-day operations. You’ll be successful in this role if: • You bring 5+ years of experience in launch management or project/program management within brokerage, fintech, or banking environments. • You have a deep understanding of B2B onboarding, including how to structure plans, manage dependencies, and steer stakeholders through complex delivery. • You bring strong financial services domain expertise (brokerage knowledge is a plus) and can translate regulatory/operational constraints into actionable delivery plans. • You have led complex cross-functional teams across business, product, engineering, and second-line functions, driving outcomes without formal authority. • You are comfortable mixing methods (waterfall, agile, hybrid) and pragmatically using tools like onboarding plans, risk logs, and reporting to get the job done. • You thrive in ambiguity and complexity, take ownership end-to-end, and can zoom out for the plan while still digging into the messy details needed to execute. • Communicate exceptionally well in English and German (C1+) building trust quickly, leading tough conversations calmly, and keeping momentum across senior internal and external stakeholders. How we take care of you: • 🚀 Compensation package: We offer you a competitive salary, based on your experience and the value-add you bring to lemon.markets. • 🕑 Flexible working hours: We trust people to choose when they work best and avoid a rigid 9 to 5 mindset. You decide on the rhythm that helps you do your best work, with only shared core hours from 12:00 to 16:00 to support collaboration. • 🏢 Hybrid work setup: You can work from anywhere in Germany within a hybrid model. At the same time, in-person collaboration is a key part of our culture. But also in the bigger things: celebrating the onboarding of new partners, growing our teams, and owning a strong discussion culture. • 💛 Perks & benefits: We choose benefits that add actual value. We sponsor a Deutschlandticket for employees on unlimited contracts, plus 50% off on Beatvest - our partner for financial education and investing. • 🏝 Workation: Get out of here!
