Senior Product Manager

Powering Trade For The Emerging Cannabis Industry Distru is the #1 ERP in the Cannabis Industry with $3B in annual sales processed through our platform! We are a fully remote and global team building a software platform to streamline the supply chain for the cannabis industry. Most of the top cannabis brands and distributors across the United States use our software to manage their entire operation and stay compliant. As part of our next phase of growth, last year we launched Distru Commerce; a wholesale platform that extends our ERP into the B2B marketplace layer, giving operators a single system to manage their internal operations and their external wholesale sales channels in one fully integrated system. But we're not stopping here. AI is now a core part of how we build and where we're placing our bets. The AI Order Agent is live and already changing how our customers operate: buyers can submit orders from any source and any format saving time spent on manual data entry. That's one piece of a bigger picture: using AI to take the repetitive, heavy-lifting work out of running an ERP so operators can focus on running their business. We take a tremendous amount of pride in our culture and have 5/5 stars on Glassdoor because we truly care about our people. We are stable, profitable, and heavily investing in growing new product lines to expand our reach. Our investors include Felicis Ventures, Global Founders Capital, Poseidon Asset Management, and Village Global who have funded companies such as Shopify, Cruise, HelloFresh, Facebook, Slack, and Opendoor. The Opportunity We're looking for an AI-forward Product Manager who thinks in systems, ships with conviction, and sees AI not as a feature layer but as a product foundation. This role will take significant ownership of parts of our core ERP, Distru Commerce, and our new AI-native product features. You'll report directly to the CTO and work side-by-side with the rest of the product team, engineering, and design. Distru is at an inflection point. We have deep market penetration in cannabis ERP, a new commerce layer live and growing, and a roadmap that's increasingly AI-native. The PM who takes this role will own a meaningful piece of that roadmap; not just the feature backlog, but the design of how AI agents integrate into user workflows, where automation belongs, and where human judgment must stay front and center. This is a high-ownership role at a company that ships weekly and cares about getting it right. You'll work directly with the C-suite, set the bar for what great product looks like inside Distru, and help us build the operating system for an entire industry. Our Team Culture Rather than us defining our culture, check out what the team has to say! \n What You'll OwnOwn the Product Roadmap • Define and execute on the product roadmap • Maintain a clear, prioritized roadmap. Communicate timelines, risks, and tradeoffs proactively • Write PRDs and work in tandem with engineers to understand and synthesize specific customer requests into meaningful features that improve the system at large • Integrate AI agents into the Distru user workflow Own the Product Lifecycle • Design interaction patterns for AI-assisted planning, spec writing, requirements analysis, and stakeholder communication • Define when the AI suggests, when it automates, and when it stays silent — and ship the affordances that make this obvious to users Cross-Functional Leadership • Work closely with engineering, CS, sales and marketing. You are the bridge that pulls insights from all of these departments together and ensures the product is moving in the right direction What We're Looking ForMust-Haves • 5+ years in tech product management • You've owned and shipped complex features end-to-end — from ambiguous problem statement to launched feature with measurable outcomes • Demonstrated AI fluency across three dimensions: • Tool fluency: you know failure modes, context windows, the LLM ecosystem • Workflow fluency: you know what to automate vs. keep human, and optimize for speed, correctness and scalability • Product fluency: you know the difference between AI that earns its place in a product and AI that was bolted on to check a box. You've shipped the former. • Hands-on experience with product management tools. You've lived inside Jira, Linear, Notion, or similar; you know where the friction lives because you've felt it • Technical fluency: you can read API docs, understand context windows, and write specs engineers and AI agents can build from • Strong prioritization instincts. You can distinguish urgent from important and hold the line on scope • Clear communication. Most of your work product starts as written artifacts: PRDs, decision memos, spec documents Nice-to-Haves • Background in supply chain, ERP, CRM, B2B marketplaces, or accounting software • Experience with UX design • Familiarity with agentic systems and multi-agent orchestration • Experience using Claude Code or similar tools to build products independently • Early-stage startup experience (sub-50 headcount) Our Interview Process • Initial Screen: A conversation about your background, your take on AI-forward PM, and mutual fit • Product Work Session: A take-home prompt sent you work on with live interactions with the Distru team • Product Work Session Review: A conversation around your product work submission where you and the Distru team dive deeper into your thoughts and decisions • Final Interview: Call with our CEO to determine final fit \n$135,000 - $175,000 a year Placement within this range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills. \n Distru was formed by an environment of mutual respect and trust made up by people working together without regard to race, color, religion, sex, pregnancy (including childbirth, lactation and related medical conditions), national origin, age, physical and mental disability, marital status, sexual orientation, gender identity, gender expression, genetic information (including characteristics and testing), military and veteran status, and any other characteristic protected by law.
