Senior Sales Development Representative, Global Accounts (m/f/d)

We're building a new global Berlitz, and this is your opportunity to help shape it. Nearly 150 years of expertise, meeting the ambition and technology to power a new era of learning. If you are the kind of person who thrives in a fast-paced environment, isn’t afraid of a blank page, and is excited to help shape the future of a global company undergoing a significant transformation, you might belong at Berlitz! As a Senior Sales Development Representative, Global Accounts, you will play a key role in growing Berlitz’s relationships with large, strategic organisations around the world. Working closely with our Global Account Managers, you will be responsible for identifying, mapping and engaging relevant stakeholders across a defined portfolio of named global enterprise accounts. A key part of the role is multi-stakeholder management — building and maintaining relationships across different levels, functions and regions within complex organisations. Your focus will be on building meaningful relationships, uncovering business needs and creating high-quality opportunities that can develop into long-term commercial partnerships. This is a senior SDR role by design. You’ll need to operate with a high degree of ownership, navigate complex global organisations and engage confidently with stakeholders across multiple levels and functions. Rather than relying on traditional top-down cold calling or high-volume outreach, you’ll take a bottom-up prospecting approach — researching accounts deeply, mapping multiple stakeholders, identifying potential internal champions and building relationships across different layers of an organisation. You’ll work closely with Global Account Managers and other sales stakeholders to develop account strategies, share market insights and create new opportunities within some of Berlitz’s most strategically important accounts. What You'll Do • Partner closely with Global Account Managers to develop and execute account-based prospecting strategies across named global enterprise accounts. • Research target organisations to understand their business, organisational structure, strategic priorities and potential learning, language or communication needs. • Take a bottom-up prospecting approach, mapping multiple layers of an organisation rather than relying solely on top-down outreach. • Identify and map relevant stakeholders, including decision-makers, influencers, users and potential internal champions. • Build multi-threaded relationships across different functions, seniority levels, regions and business units. • Develop targeted outreach strategies across email, phone, LinkedIn and other relevant channels. • Engage senior stakeholders with relevant, insight-led messaging rather than relying on generic sales outreach. • Initiate meaningful conversations that uncover business challenges, priorities and potential opportunities. • Qualify prospects and assess whether there is a genuine business need and fit for Berlitz. • Create high-quality sales opportunities and ensure an effective handover to the relevant Global Account Manager or sales owner. • Work with Global Account Managers to develop and progress target accounts throughout the sales cycle. • Track prospecting activity, conversion and pipeline contribution, using data and insights to continuously improve your approach. • Share market, account and prospect insights with Sales, Marketing and other relevant teams. • Contribute to the development of Berlitz’s global-account prospecting playbook and ways of working as the sales organisation continues to evolve. What You'll Bring • 2+ years of relevant experience in B2B sales development, business development, inside sales or a similar commercial role, with strong outbound prospecting experience • Experience prospecting into enterprise or strategic accounts, ideally within a complex B2B environment. • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English. • German and Spanish are strongly preferred due to the global scope of the role. • A proven ability to engage and build relationships with senior stakeholders. • Strong research, stakeholder-mapping and account-planning skills, with the ability to turn account insights into relevant outreach. • Experience using a bottom-up, multi-threaded prospecting approach across complex organisations. • A consultative and commercially curious approach to prospecting — you want to understand the business problem rather than simply book a meeting. • Confidence communicating with senior decision-makers across different functions, markets and levels of an organisation. • A data-driven mindset and an understanding of key SDR metrics such as pipeline generation, conversion and meeting-to-opportunity rates. • A genuine interest in developing your career in B2B enterprise sales and progressing towards an Account Executive or Global Account Manager role. Why Join Berlitz? • Be part of an exciting global transformation that is truly rare • Work alongside talented colleagues across the world • Have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact to help Berlitz connect the world through language and culture. • Enjoy a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive work environment.
